ELASTORENE™ is NBR/PVC blends where NBR is dominant blend partner.

ELASTORENE™ can be compounded and processed similar to NBR. It is compatible with all types of fillers, process aids and curatives of NBR.

Nitrile rubbers (NBR) are well known for its good resistance to the attack of solvents and oils. However there are other synthetic rubbers that are better resistant to ozone exposure than NBR.

In order to improve its inherent deficiency, Sunrise Elastomer has developed blends of NBR : PVC grades known as 'ELASTORENE™'

ELASTORENE blends are recommended for the applications that require good weatherability and resistance to organic liquids such as aliphatic oils and non polar solvents.

The main applications of ELASTORENE are in Automotive Industry, Fuel and Petrolium Hose, Wire and Cable Jacketing, Safety Shoe soles, V-belts, Calendered and Molded sheets, Gaskets, O-rings, Seals, Printing and Textile Rolls, industrial Flooring and Coated Fabrics.
